We have been to loads of these and the most
enjoyable are "theme" parties that are tailored to the personality of
the guest of honour. Talk to friends and family and work out
what the person is most likely to enjoy, things like 70's or 80's
parties always go down well and you can arrange everything else around
this theme.
The venue and food & drink are going to
similar to the 18th & 21st so you already
know that is easy to arrange.
Fancy dress goes down a treat with these
events so look up several hire shops in your area and ask for some
leaflets to included with your invites. Make sure that people are fully
aware of the theme so they don't turn up wearing the wrong costume.
Don't forget the taxis because people are
sure going to enjoy themselves.
